Email is a very powerful communication tool, and will continue
to grow in use and popularity. Compiling a voluntary signup list of email addresses from visitors to your site
is an excellent way to keep them informed about your new products or services, or new additions to the website,
and keep them coming back!
The software we've developed is called cguLIST,
and has many options and features to provide you with the best and simplest methods of sending to and managing
large groups of email addresses, all from a standard web browser, as with all of cguWEB's programs.

Message boards are like electronic versions of the bulletin boards
found hanging in schools, offices, and public libraries, only these are interactive. Users can post a message,
and other users can post replies, or their own message post. This creates a community atmoshere for a website,
and allows users to exchange ideas and information about a company, its products and service, or practically anything!
We've decided to use a commercial application for this tool, rather then write our own because of the particularly
large number of features and options available with this software we've chosen.

Online guestbooks are one of the more common and oldest (in web-years,
that is) tools in use on the net. It simply allows visitors to your site the chance to leave a message and 'sign'
your book along with all of the other visitors who chose to do so as well.
There isn't much adminstration involved with this application, which we call cguGUEST, except the occasional removal of an offensive post (though a profanity
checker can be activated and customized). And again, all adminstration functions are performed via a standard web
browser.

| Website Visitor Statistics and Hit Counters |

Visitor statistics provide the website owner with valuable information
about the users of their site. Our log file analysis and statistics software shows you realtime compiled information
such as what parts of your site are most popular, graph views of the time of day, day of week, and day of month
of visits, and where in the world your visitors are coming from.
Webpage hit counters are scripted to keep an eye on one particular page of your site, and try to count the number
of unique visitors that page has had. It's difficult to make this determiniation sometimes because most site users
will return to the homepage for example, more then once during a session at the site.
Our page counters watch closely and almost always can determine truely unique vistors, and therefore, provide a
much more accurate count of traffic. And with cguCOUNT,
it can be installed as a hidden counter, which would not show the public the now cliche' phrase "You're the 56283th visitor to our site",
but still provide you with a page counter, only accessible and viewable from your website's adminstration panel.

We've all seen forms on the web in an e-commerce application for
the final payment and address information collection. Well, web forms were initially developed for use as a communication
tool, allowing users to send comments and feedback to the site's webmasters or other certain company individuals.
They can be setup with any combination of style and function, including multiple choice type, fill-in form fields,
lists, and more. These forms can also be interactively programmed to fill-in or choose options automatically based
on given input, or even calculate and manipulate the entries in the fields.
Feedback forms, information request forms, contact us forms and others are great ways to increase the communication
between your site users and your company.
